The Cooling Body Oil is Surya's pitta-balancing abhyanga oil, formulated by Martha Soffer to soften heat-aggravated skin and settle a hot mood. What sets it apart is the herb blend of red sandalwood, pink rose, neem, and coconut on a light coconut base for daily lymphatic self-massage.

The Cooling Body Oil is built on cooling coconut and sesame oils, cured with amalaki, coriander, manjistha, neem, pink rose, red sandalwood, and tulsi. Surya draws on herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda to draw down excess heat and calm inflamed skin, packaged in a 6.7 fl oz bottle.

Warm a small pool of Cooling Body Oil in your palms, then perform Surya's abhyanga self-massage with slow, generous strokes from feet up to heart. Surya recommends five to ten minutes before a lukewarm shower, letting the herbs settle sensitive, sun-warmed, or inflamed skin before you dress for the day.
