Lumara is a family-owned company that began by engineering red light therapy systems for professional aestheticians and dermatologists. All items ship directly from Lumara.

Processing: Most orders leave our fulfillment center within 2–3 business days. We do not ship on weekends or federal holidays. If your order is placed during a high-volume period, it may take a day or two longer - we will reach out if there is a meaningful delay.

Delivery: Expect your order to arrive within 3–5 business days after it ships. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

Returns & Replacements

We stand behind every product we carry. If something is not right, we want to fix it.

30-day window: Reach out within 30 days of receiving your order and we will work with you on a resolution.

Arrived damaged or defective: Open your package carefully and inspect it when it arrives. If the mask is damaged or not functioning as expected, contact us right away. Keep the original packaging - it is needed to process the claim.

Replacements: Eligible returns receive a complimentary replacement unit and a prepaid return label. Processing takes approximately 1–3 weeks once your claim is submitted.

VISO vs. Illuminate panel?

Lumara's professional LED panels power thousands of med spas and esthetic clinics around the world. Lumara took this same technology and designed the VISO mask, so you can bring the power of the clinic into the comfort of your home.

VISO vs. other masks?

Other masks have around 100 LEDs. This is like using a Q-tip to apply sunscreen, and it leaves your skin half untreated. Lumara VISO has 470 LEDs, so every centimeter of your skin is fully covered for a med spa level treatment at home.

Why no infrared?

At clinical-level power, eye protection would be required, as infrared can damage the retinas. In addition, the excess heat released by infrared can actually make some skin conditions worse, such as melasma.

Can I use my VISO daily?

Yes! For optimal results, you can use the Lumara VISO for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening, every day.

It's bright! Is it hurting my eyes?

The VISO is clinical grade, so it is very bright! However, it is safe. One of Lumara's clients even regained partial vision!

Is the Lumara VISO Power Controller HSA/FSA eligible?

I started using this near infrared small pad for my left knee replacement. I’m also using it under both knees because my right knee is next up for knee replacement and I feel that this therapy is strengthening and supporting my bones and perhaps I won’t need a right knee replacement in the future. Company has been great to work with. I also have their face mask and I use that back-and-forth red light therapy for the skin scar and near infrared therapy for the deep muscle repair and bone health...
