Senjunomukashi Ceremonial Matcha (Thick Grade)

This is an excellent matcha. It is a blend from Joyo, just south of Uji, Japan, and surrounding areas. It is considered a thick matcha, meaning it has sufficient umami that provides sweetness and mouth-filling flavors, allowing one to add more to create a texture similar to thick mud. That is appreciated in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies.
