An indulgent Ayurvedic cleansing ritual to effortlessly melt away makeup, dirt and pollutants with a silken combination of nutritive oils. Deeply healing and reparative Frankincense oil is known to balance sebum production, fade scarring and lift and tighten skin for a refreshed complexion.  Anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial Black Cumin Oil helps to clarify congested pores and support skin regeneration for an enlivened, supple glow of healthy skin.

Black Cumin

This nourishing oil is packed with vitamins and minerals that help soothe the skin. It helps with acne, clogged pores and other unwanted blemishes. It also helps the skin retain moisture and maintain elasticity.

Frankincense

With powerful anti-inflammatory properties, Frankincense Essential Oil is an effective natural remedy to calm the complexion. For irritated or damaged skin, it restores the epidermis and calms affected areas.

Castor Oil

It has a unique ability to penetrate deep into the pores and dissolve impurities.It is also a natural moisturizer with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can help to soothe and protect the skin.

Hazelnut oil

In addition to its moisturizing qualities, hazelnut oil is packed full of tannins, powerful antioxidants that also act as astringents which cleanse the skin, remove bacteria, and help to balance the skin.

How To Use

Massage a small amount onto face using gentle, circular motions. Use a washcloth with warm water and wipe face clean. Follow with our Face Mist and one of our Face Oils or Moisturizers

Best oil cleanser

I use this and the Mantra Skin perfecting cleanser. I use this first to remove make up and then the Mantra cleaner to further clean my skin. Love this oil cleanser. Works well and doesn't dry out my skin.

New to Using Oil

I'm new to using oil to cleanse my already oily acne prone skin. I love how soft my skin feels afterwards and not tight and dry which I've experienced from other types of cleansers. It also gets rid of all the junk in my pores.

Was a little hesitant to try a cleansing oil as I'm prone to break outs, but this product is incredible! No breakouts, just smooth skin that stays hydrated even in harsh NYC winters. I use this product to remove makeup, followed by the Mantra cleanser.Just all around amazing!

Five Years and Still Loving the Kapha/Mantra Cleansing Duo

Finding a reliable cleanser can be a long and frustrating journey, especially for those with sensitive or reactive skin. I rarely write reviews unless I can genuinely stand behind a product, and after five years of use, I can confidently say the Kapha/Matra Cleansing Duo has been a game-changer.

My skin tends to be temperamental—something as simple as a change in water can lead to blotchiness or breakouts. Over the years, I’ve tested other products, but I always return to this duo because it simply works. Whether I’m dealing with dehydration from long-haul flights, intense humidity in the tropics, or the dry mountain air, this cleanser keeps my skin balanced, eliminating the need for recovery periods.

The packaging isn’t the most travel-friendly, but I’ve solved this by decanting the products into silicone tubes and storing them in a Stasher bag—problem solved.

If you’re on the fence, I’d encourage you to give this cleansing duo a try. It’s been a staple in my routine for years, and I continue to be impressed.
