Expiration and Shelf Life

• Shelf Life: The shelf life for Four Sigmatic products ranges between 1–3 years, depending on the specific product (ground, instant, or mixes).
• Optimal Use: For the best taste and quality, the company recommends consuming it before the date stamped on the bag.
• Post-Expiration: Like most coffee, it is likely safe to consume past this date but will lose its aroma, flavor, and potentcy over time. 

Freezing Four Sigmatic Coffee

• Recommendation: While freezing is a common way to extend shelf life, it can lead to condensation and "stale" tasting coffee if not done properly.
• How to Freeze: If you choose to freeze it, you must store it in an airtight, opaque container to protect it from moisture and odors.
• Best Practice: Do not take the entire container in and out of the freezer daily. Instead, divide it into small portions, or only freeze unopened bags, taking out only what you need and allowing it to reach room temperature before opening. 

Optimal Storage (Non-Freezer)

• The best way to keep Four Sigmatic coffee fresh is to store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place (like a pantry).
