(HEK-sen): Swedish "The Witch". Inspired by the groundbreaking silent film HÄXAN that was released in 1922, a fictional documentary that explores paganism and witch craft through the ages. 

A perfume of spellwork and shadow, conjured from roots, resins, and relics, HÄXAN is not merely fragrance, it is ritual. An elixir born of poison gardens and sacred groves, of druid stones and smoldering altars. Each ingredient is chosen not only for its scent, but for its soul—its magic.

It begins with Osmanthus, a narcotic bloom steeped in golden velvet, apricot flesh over aged leather, delicate yet carnal. It stirs something ancient just beneath the surface of the skin. At its heart, Turkish Rose unfolds ripe, red, and bruised at the edges. Not a petal, but the memory of one crushed between pages of an old spellbook. It hums in the body like a secret barely kept. Beneath, Oakmoss coils like damp earth underfoot, velvet green and animalic. It anchors the soul, beckoning it deeper into the forest floor, into roots, loam, and silence. At the base, fossilized amber glows, smoldering and resinous, like embers in a ritual hearth, while musks whisper, skin-close and spectral, blurring the edges between self and scent, human and wild, seen and unseen.

This is not adornment, it is alchemy. A fragrance for the intuitive, the spell-weaver, the ones who commune with silence and shadow. It leaves a trail of wonder and woodsmoke, a talisman in scent, a reminder that the most powerful magic lives in what we cannot see.

HOW TO WEAR

Our fragrances are gender-neutral and made for everyone. 

APPLICATION: We use plant-based natural ingredients, which means our scents are light and sheer. To increase staying power, you’ll want to apply the fragrance periodically throughout the day.

LAYERING: We also encourage you to layer two to three Heretic fragrances not only to increase the overall intensity but to help you create your next signature scent.
