Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Sertodo Napa Copper Bottle Coasters a Sertodo original?

The Napa Copper Bottle Coasters are hand hammered from 100% pure copper by Sertodo artisans, from the workshop that has been making copper drinkware since 1997. Each coaster carries the same hammered finish as Sertodo mule mugs and cups.

Is copper safe for wine and beer bottles on the Sertodo Napa Bottle Coasters?

Yes. Copper is inert to short-contact water and bottle sweat. The raised hammered wall catches condensation from chilled bottles of wine, champagne, and beer, so rings and drips stay off wood and stone surfaces underneath during service.

How do you clean and care for the Sertodo Napa Bottle Coasters?

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, or hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry right away. Never use a dishwasher, steel wool, or abrasive cleansers on copper. To brighten the finish, rub gently with a cut lemon dipped in salt, rinse, and dry. You can also let the patina deepen naturally; many collectors prefer that lived-in warmth.

Will the Sertodo Napa Bottle Coasters scratch a table?

The base is hand hammered copper without felt backing. For high-gloss wood or stone, use a soft cloth or felt liner underneath if your surface is prone to marking. On typical dining tables, the coaster sits flat and holds a standard wine, champagne, or beer bottle.

What Sertodo pieces pair with the Napa Bottle Coasters?

Match the Napa Bottle Coasters to the Sertodo Solid Copper Mule Mug 18 oz and the Sertodo Napa Copper Cup Coasters. Sertodo drinkware and coasters all share the same hammered finish, so mixed pieces still read as one set.

What if it isn't right for me?

Sertodo accepts returns within 30 days on unused items, with a handling fee that is typically 5% (up to 25% depending on condition). Ship it back trackable, ideally in the original materials; refunds are issued after inspection, and original shipping is not refundable. Every piece also carries Sertodo's lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. Contact orders@msskincare.co to start.

Loving it!

Followed the cleaning instructions, added water the night before, and drank water the next day. It really helped with some inflammation we had going on, and gave us some energy too. Loving this!

New to copper cup

I have been slowly increasing my intake of water in my copper cup. Dont take long until the shiney turns dull with dark spots. Any tricks to keep it shinny?

“Weight” and see!

We’ve had several copper cups through out our lives but these cups are perfect. Not just the perfect size but a nice substantial weight. It is just the right everything!

Stunning Gift!

We were looking for a high quality copper gift for our son and daughter-in-law’s 7th wedding anniversary. BOOM! This is a perfect gift which will become a lifetime keepsake (and a wonderful piece for entertaining and/or daily use!). I highly recommend this company and product.

Drinking in style

If you’re wondering if these glasses are worth the price, the answer is YES. They have some weight to them without being overly heavy and they are beautiful. I drink a decent amount of water, but I catch myself filling them up over and over because I seriously love drinking from them.

Love my new Sertodo bowl!!

I have been looking for a copper bowl for a while, and finally purchased the Sertodo 2.5 Qt (10 in. diameter) bowl. It is absolutely beautiful, and will be perfect for making whipped cream. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and it's way too pretty to store in a cabinet. I wasn't sure about which size to get, and the 2 Qt is perfect. I included the blender in the picture to give some perspective on the size.
