Frequently Asked Questions

Is this real copper or copper-plated?

Every Sertodo piece is crafted from 100% pure, solid copper, never plated or mixed with other metals. Sertodo verifies the purity of each batch to ensure you receive authentic copper with all its natural health benefits.

How does the Niagara Dispenser differ from the Sana Vida models?

The Niagara is a copper dispenser and does not filter water. The Sana Vida systems add filtration: EverFlow for city tap water and wells with generally good water quality, GuardFlow for areas with heavy farming or industry, and PureFlow, the most advanced, for PFAS, microplastics and microorganisms.

Can I put copper in the dishwasher?

No, Sertodo recommends hand washing only. Dishwashers use harsh detergents and high heat that can damage the copper's finish and accelerate tarnishing. Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry immediately.

Is it safe to drink from copper vessels?

Yes. Copper has been used safely for drinking water for thousands of years in Ayurvedic tradition, and pure copper naturally has antimicrobial properties. Avoid storing acidic beverages, such as citrus juices or vinegar, in copper for extended periods, and always rinse after use.

Why does copper change color?

Copper naturally develops a patina, a darkened appearance, over time when exposed to air and moisture. This is normal and does not affect quality or health benefits. Many people love the aged look, while others prefer to polish it back to a shine. Both are beautiful and authentic.

What if it isn't right for me?

Unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Most returns carry a 5% handling fee to cover cleaning and inspection, and the fee can be up to 25% for items that have been used. Please send the item back with a tracked shipping method, in its original packaging where possible, to protect it in transit. Your refund will be issued once Sertodo has received and inspected the item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. To begin a return, please contact us at orders@msskincare.co.

Customers praised this handcrafted pure copper dispenser for its "beautiful quality" and "stunning" craftsmanship. Many noted improved water taste and health benefits. It accommodates 5-gallon bottles. Some concerns: potential copper authenticity, tarnishing requiring frequent cleaning, metallic taste, and assembly difficulty. A few reported staining or leaking issues.

New to copper cup

I have been slowly increasing my intake of water in my copper cup. Dont take long until the shiney turns dull with dark spots. Any tricks to keep it shinny?

“Weight” and see!

We’ve had several copper cups through out our lives but these cups are perfect. Not just the perfect size but a nice substantial weight. It is just the right everything!

We were looking for a high quality copper gift for our son and daughter-in-law’s 7th wedding anniversary. BOOM! This is a perfect gift which will become a lifetime keepsake (and a wonderful piece for entertaining and/or daily use!). I highly recommend this company and product.

Drinking in style

If you’re wondering if these glasses are worth the price, the answer is YES. They have some weight to them without being overly heavy and they are beautiful. I drink a decent amount of water, but I catch myself filling them up over and over because I seriously love drinking from them.

Love my new Sertodo bowl!!

I have been looking for a copper bowl for a while, and finally purchased the Sertodo 2.5 Qt (10 in. diameter) bowl. It is absolutely beautiful, and will be perfect for making whipped cream. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and it's way too pretty to store in a cabinet. I wasn't sure about which size to get, and the 2 Qt is perfect. I included the blender in the picture to give some perspective on the size.

Healthy and Beautiful

I gave this beautiful Iced Tea Cup to a friend and she loved it. Makes a great gift!!
